These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, the Returns & Refunds Policy, and the Payment and Shipping Policy (collectively, the “Terms of Service Bundle”), govern your access to and use of the ResearchedPep website, products, and any related social media or communication channels. By creating an account, browsing the catalog, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to every part of the Bundle. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
For laboratory research use only
These products are for lab work. They are not for people, animals, food, drugs, cosmetics, or anything you put on or in the body.
Acceptance and the Terms of Service Bundle
Your access to and use of our services is conditioned on your continuing acceptance of and compliance with the Terms of Service Bundle. The Bundle applies to all visitors, prospective customers, certified researchers, and to anyone who reads, browses, registers, purchases, or otherwise interacts with our services. Continued use of the website or placement of any order after a revision to the Bundle constitutes acceptance of the revised Bundle.
Eligibility and account certification
You must be at least twenty-one (21) years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is greater), and qualified to handle in-vitro laboratory research materials. By creating an account or placing an order, you certify that you are purchasing strictly for in-vitro laboratory research, analytical, or laboratory purposes, that you are acting on behalf of a qualified research organization or qualified research purpose, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Research-use-only restrictions
All products listed on our website or referenced through our communication channels are for in-vitro laboratory research, analytical, or laboratory purposes only. They are not for human or animal use, ingestion, injection, topical application, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, mitigation, clinical application, food, drug, cosmetic, household use, or any other unauthorized purpose. The required research-use-only labeling is the basis for these materials' regulatory status and must not be removed, altered, or obscured. Bodily introduction of any kind into humans or animals is strictly prohibited by law, and ResearchedPep accepts no responsibility for misconduct, misuse, or any consequence arising from disregard of this restriction.
No resale, repackaging, or redistribution
All products sold by ResearchedPep are intended strictly for in-vitro research and laboratory use by the certified purchaser. By purchasing from our website you agree that you will not resell, repackage, relabel, redistribute, or transfer any product to a third party. The purchaser assumes full responsibility and liability for proper storage, handling, recordkeeping, and use in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and safety guidelines.
TSCA and other regulatory programs
Because ResearchedPep products are, unless otherwise stated, intended solely for in-vitro research, they may not be listed on the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) inventory or covered by other regulatory programs that apply to commercial chemical products. The purchaser assumes responsibility for confirming that any intended research use is permitted under TSCA and any other applicable regulatory frameworks before purchase or use.
Indemnity and waiver of claims
In consideration of the purchase of research compounds from ResearchedPep, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ResearchedPep and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, suppliers, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to your purchase, possession, storage, handling, or use of the compounds. You acknowledge that ResearchedPep products are intended solely for research and are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for human use. You release, discharge, and waive any and all claims, demands, causes of action, suits, judgments, and liabilities of any kind that may arise from or be connected to the purchase, possession, or use of any product. This waiver applies to you, your heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns, and survives termination of this agreement.
No FDA assessment or medical claims
Statements on this website have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. ResearchedPep products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, mitigate, or otherwise address any disease, ailment, or medical condition, and have not been evaluated for any such use. Product pages, lab reports, support messages, order documents, and educational content must not be interpreted as medical, veterinary, dosing, reconstitution, administration, wellness, performance, weight-loss, anti-aging, therapeutic, or diagnostic guidance.
Prohibited conduct
You may not request or provide dosing, reconstitution, administration, clinical, human-use, animal-use, therapeutic, diagnostic, or consumption guidance through any ResearchedPep channel. ResearchedPep may suspend accounts, cancel orders, refuse service, preserve records, contact relevant authorities, or report activity when communications, conduct, or order patterns indicate misuse, fraud, identity misrepresentation, or regulatory risk.
Account security and accuracy
You are responsible for providing accurate account, organization, billing, shipping, and contact information at registration and at every checkout, and for keeping that information current. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials, for all activity under your account, and for promptly notifying us of any suspected compromise. ResearchedPep may require additional verification before granting access, accepting orders, or releasing shipments.
Order placement and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase and does not, by itself, obligate ResearchedPep to accept or fulfill the order. An order confirmation email constitutes acknowledgment of receipt and is not acceptance of the order. Orders may be reviewed for compliance, payment risk, fraud screening, product availability, destination restrictions, carrier limitations, documentation status, suspected misuse, or any other reason at our discretion. ResearchedPep reserves the right to hold, decline, refund, cancel, or limit any order.
Pricing and price changes
Product prices, taxes, shipping fees, and applicable surcharges shown on our website may change without notice. Prices are exclusive of taxes, levies, duties, and other governmental charges unless explicitly stated. We make reasonable efforts to ensure pricing accuracy; in the event of an obvious error, ResearchedPep reserves the right to correct the error and to refund or charge the corrected amount. If a corrected price is materially higher than the price displayed at the time of order, we will offer cancellation in lieu of the corrected charge.
Payment authorization and PCI compliance
ResearchedPep currently supports two payment rails: (a) a card-based rail provided by an underwritten payment processor, and (b) a peer-to-peer rail in which the customer sends payment directly to ResearchedPep via Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp using the handles disclosed in the order confirmation email. For the card rail, payment authorization, capture, settlement, refund timing, fraud screening, and processor decisions are subject to the underwritten payment processor and to ResearchedPep compliance review; ResearchedPep does not store full payment card numbers, card security codes, or sensitive payment authentication data on its own systems, and all card data is collected, tokenized, and processed by a PCI-DSS compliant payment service provider. For the peer-to-peer rail, settlement is out-of-band, an order remains in a non-captured state until ResearchedPep confirms receipt of payment, and refunds (when applicable) are issued through the same peer-to-peer channel. Customers are responsible for selecting the rail at checkout. ResearchedPep does not authorize chargebacks for policy-disclosed review holds or for orders rejected or refunded in accordance with our posted policies.
Cancellation
An order may be cancelled by the customer until the order has been picked, packed, captured, or handed off to the carrier — after that point, cancellation is no longer available and the customer should follow the Returns & Refunds Policy if return is permitted. ResearchedPep may also cancel and refund orders that fail payment review, target an unsupported destination, or are flagged for any reason described in these Terms.
Returns, refunds, and shipment claims
Refunds, returns, claims for damaged or missing shipments, and chargeback procedures are governed by the Returns & Refunds Policy, which is incorporated into this Bundle by reference. Because our products are research materials with chain-of-custody, seal, storage, and compliance considerations, returns are generally not accepted after shipment unless ResearchedPep approves the return in writing.
Shipping and delivery
Shipping methods, delivery estimates, restricted destinations, and address requirements are governed by the Payment and Shipping Policy. Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by review holds, weather, carrier delays, address issues, documentation review, or unsupported destinations. Title, risk of loss, and delivery claims are described in the Payment and Shipping Policy.
Product instructions and labels
You must read and follow the product label, including any warnings, storage instructions, and disclaimers, before opening or using any product. Products are for use in laboratory and research environments by qualified professionals only and must not be relabeled, mislabeled, or represented as pharmaceuticals, agricultural or pesticidal substances, food additives, household items, or any other category for which they are not intended.
Lab reports and documentation
Lab reports, certificates of analysis, lot identifiers, assay results, purity values, sequence records, and related documents are provided for research recordkeeping only. They are not instructions for clinical, human, animal, or therapeutic use and do not expand the permitted use of any material. ResearchedPep may update or supersede any lab document; the most recent document linked to a lot is the controlling document.
Regulatory status (FD&C 503A / 503B)
ResearchedPep is not a compounding pharmacy or chemical compounding facility as defined under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and is not an outsourcing facility as defined under Section 503B of that Act. ResearchedPep does not compound, dispense, or sell drugs or finished pharmaceutical products.
Intellectual property
The ResearchedPep name, logo, branding, website content, lab report layouts, and product copy are the exclusive property of ResearchedPep and its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, scrape, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written consent. Limited use of product names and lot identifiers in your own internal research records is permitted.
Third-party links and services
Our services may include links to third-party websites, payment gateways, carrier tracking pages, lab document hosts, and identity providers that we do not own or control. ResearchedPep is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, terms, or availability of any third-party site or service, and your use of any third party is subject to that party's terms and policies. Payment processors, in particular, govern card authorization, settlement, dispute, and chargeback processes; ResearchedPep is not the merchant of record for the underlying card transaction.
Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, catalog, documentation, and products are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted access, or error-free operation. No advice or information obtained from ResearchedPep creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.
Limitation of liability
Notwithstanding any damages you might incur, ResearchedPep's entire liability under any provision of this Bundle is limited to the amount you actually paid in the purchase transaction giving rise to the claim. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResearchedPep and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, suppliers, owners, agents, affiliates, and assigns will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, regulatory action, laboratory interruption, misuse of materials, or any other loss arising out of or in connection with the website, products, services, or any third-party content, whether under contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory.
Force majeure
ResearchedPep will not be in breach of these Terms or otherwise liable for any failure to perform when that failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of government, lockdowns, embargoes, strikes, lockouts, riots, sabotage, pandemics, quarantines, fires, floods, earthquakes, weather events, civil disturbances, infrastructure or carrier outages, payment processor outages, or any similar “Force Majeure Event.” In such events, we will use diligent efforts to notify affected customers, mitigate disruption, and resume normal operations as soon as reasonably practicable.
Termination and suspension
ResearchedPep may suspend or terminate your account, refuse service, or cancel any pending order at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason — including without limitation breach of these Terms, suspected misuse of products, suspected fraud, payment dispute history, regulatory or carrier concern, or for safety reasons. Upon termination, your right to access our services ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including the indemnity and waiver, limitation of liability, intellectual property, governing law, and dispute provisions — survive termination.
Complaints
If you have a complaint, you must notify ResearchedPep in writing through the Contact page with as much detail as possible, including order number (if applicable), nature of the complaint, supporting documentation, and contact information. ResearchedPep will assign a designated team member with authority to review the matter and will work in good faith to resolve the issue in a manner we believe to be reasonable and fair. Initiating a payment dispute or external complaint without first contacting us may delay resolution and may result in account suspension.
Governing law and venue
These Terms and the Bundle, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any legal action or proceeding shall be the state and federal courts located in the State of Florida, and you irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Legal capacity and authority
By accepting this Bundle, you represent and warrant that you have the full power, authority, and legal capacity to enter into and perform your obligations under it, and that you have obtained any internal approvals or consents required by your research organization for this Bundle to be legally binding upon you and ResearchedPep.
Entire agreement, modifications, and severability
This Bundle constitutes the entire agreement between you and ResearchedPep concerning your use of our services and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous oral or written communications, marketing materials, or agreements on the same subject matter. ResearchedPep may modify the Bundle by posting a revised version on the website with an updated date. Continued use after a posted change constitutes acceptance of the change. If any provision of this Bundle is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
